- It was the BEST home computer in the first half of the eighties.

- 320*200 monochrome
- 160*200 'multicolor' (4 colors per 8x8 pixel block) (more with tricks)
- 8 sprites
- extremely versatile video chip. Just look at the (later) demos.
- only 16 fixed colors though.

- When I had mine, I even had a distributed mandelbrot fractal generator (!).
- Top half of the screen was calculated by the 1541 DISK DRIVE!!
